The illuminated “follow me” indicator is a variable message sign which can be installed on a vehicle, primarily used as a visual guide on airport runways.
This luminous indicator has been designed with LED technology, which makes it perfectly readable both in the daytime and at night, thanks to the fact that the luminosity regulates itself automatically according to current conditions.
Lightweight and with a slim profile, the luminous “Follow me” sign is easily installed on vehicles and can be equipped with flashing side lights.
The messages which can be displayed, in yellow-amber color, are memorized in an electronic control unit, which is coded. In order to activate them, just key in the relative code on the keyboard. It is also possible to set a scrolling message, if the text is longer than the available space on the LED display.
The joints on the luminous “Follow me” signs are made in stainless steel and make the panel resistant to water and dust.
The KC-640 central control unit has also been designed to operate in extreme temperatures, and is used in thousands of on-board electronic systems installed all over the world.
